Of course I don't make music for a living, yet.

I am not expecting anyone to solve my PC problems (if there are any), especially not people who do not want to help, like you.

I used to use asio4all when I was still using FL, and my computer did not like asio4all at all, which is why it says in DAW manuals to use the native ASIO sound card driver instead of asio4all as long as there is one. With the ASUS driver FL worked flawlessly on my computer.
I also ruled out Noisemaker as I also get the error message when using Mulab modules only.
Again, I have no idea what it is, but it made sense to ask here because maybe I am not the only one. As I already wrote pages ago, I have learned to live with that occasional error, no idea why you dropped in asking about my os again at this stage...

and now i dont think i wanna expand, really.

Yes that's indeed best.

I also didn't suspect NoiseMaker.
I rather think there is some problem on your system somewhere.
But then this prob should also occur when you're using your sound card via ASIO in other audio/music software. Maybe you were using it via MME or DirectSound in FL?
Again, I have no idea what it is, but it made sense to ask here because maybe I am not the only one.
Indeed, good you asked.

Hopefully sooner or later it will become clear what's the reason.
FYI: At this point i have little reason to think it's on MuLab's side.

Because also Digit suspects there is something wrong in your system, i think.

fluffy little brain cells
Stay gentle please.

I have downloaded the new version of the asio4all driver, it is still beta, but it seems to work. I will use that for the next couple of days and see whether or not the error goes away :)

So far no more error messages :)

I have a question, though. I made a pad in Mulab, it has two filters and for some reason the filter frequencies of both are linked, I can't separate them so I can set them individually. What's the trick?

What do you mean with "linked"? Which knob are you twisting? Could it be a metaparameter which controls both frequencies?

Well, I had two filters, and when I was in the deep editor and turned the filter frequency in either one, the frequency in the other filter automatically took on the same value.
Well, I added a third filter, so the problem is solved 8)
What a wonderful pad I just finished, it sounds like the floating pad in Kool and the Gang's Summer Madness :)
Now I have to do the powerful lead synth from that same song, that will take a while, if it is possible at all in Mulab

When drawing those event curves such as gain it would be fine if it said the exact location and parameter value wherever the mouse is, just like with graphics programs. This way it would be easier to draw those lines exactly where you want them to be. Just saying... :D

It's there at the bottom-right of the envelope editor.

Oops, thanks. In order to see it better I had pushed the horizontal divider in that window all the way to the top, thus the display was not visible

Why does the docked keyboard output notes at maximum volume (127)? I think 80 would be enough. I accidentally struck a key or two with the mouse and got startled :D The same goes for the virtual keyboard. There the keys are rather long, so one might implement what many other programs feature, i.e. the higher up on a key you click, the lower its volume and the other way round.

Another little thing I noticed: when adding some recording on the same track where one already had recorded something earlier and then clicking Merge, the part is not extended to the right, i.e. one does not see that one has recorded something after the original recording. Of course one can manually extend the part in order to look for the notes one has added

Just finished a new pattern :) While I was working in Mulab, I came across the word "procentual" as an option and I was wondering if that is even an English word, sounds almost like Spanish or German to me :D Although I have been a translator for many years, I have never come across that word so far. Americans tend to dislike and distrust non-native English software interfaces, so I guess any odd words should be replaced if Mulab is supposed to be successful in the US, which is probably the biggest market.

You're right, thanks for highlighting. Corrected in the next version.

It's on the wishlist.

Added a note on the WL.
