Yeah, hehe, we had a little breakthrough yesterday. There was a little issue that prevented us from doing an essential step in the development phase, hence I never fully understood the workflow. So we set there with a crowd of brains interconnected and went through things step by step. Once we figured out what we've been missing it was actually quite okay.
Nevertheless, we're not keen on slapping standard elements onto the ui. We're going for a whole new look to squeeze things into 2 or 3 rack units, without it being "just scaled down".
As I tweeted, we're pushing Uhbik-A (reverb) through the process now. Once it works / looks good, we'll line up the rest.

I'm quite sure flanger and frequency shifter would be next.ttoz wrote:I wish you had done flanger firstbut that's ok
they are coming is all that matters.
T needs extra work, D is being refined layout-wise, The Runce needs cv inputs, P may see additions first, Graindad requires more knowledge and Q may experience a zero delay feedback retrofit (there, I used the word).

Urs,
Can you confirm if the Uhbik-A has been sent to Props for beta testing yet? We are dying over here from a no U-He drought in Reason land!

Almost... almost...GregHPSon wrote:Urs,

The Operation display is still a dummy, all knobs except Pre-Delay are not yet connected to the process, as is the preset browser and the back panel is still a bit bland.
A day or two at our 3D guru (who sussed it all out) and we might be ready to send it over. And start doing the others.
Hope you like the compact layout!

Hahaha, yeah, hehe, we had a bit of a chuckle today thinking about ways to make fun of cooling vents and stuff.mrdr wrote:Remember to glue the warranty sticker on the rear panel

Of course, Uhbik offers a great theme (in case you're not familiar with the work of Philip K. Dick, check out his novel with a similar title). There's so much we can do. Only time can hold us back.

Love the layout, Urs. This will fit in the rack nicely. Can't wait to see the other side of the device as well
