Yeah, it's become late today, but we're rather sure we've tackled both the no sound and the no preset info bugs. We'll be starting a wide spread beta / sanity check on Monday.

Cheers,

;) Urs

Ah, I'm not the only one, that's good at least. Problems like these freaks me out.

I have the same issue. Zebra HZ works great in empty projects, but as soon as I add it to a large template it stays silent and occasionally cause Cubase 6 to crash. I tried Zebra 2 and it had the same issue.

what an awesome synth! so I am very happy you are working on a fix.
And I see Resoded has the problem too.

Interesting, I've been looking for info because I'm getting a very similar scenario with Studio One 2.06 on Win 7 x64.

If I create a new project and run only instances of Zebra 2.5.3 and/or Dark Zebra there's no problem. If I add other instruments such as Kontakt or Play there's still no issue.

However, if I then close S1 and reopen the project containing Zebra and other instruments it freezes. Also, if I add an instance of Zebra or ZebraHZ to an existing project it also freezes.

Looking forward to see it the next update solves it as I was (am still) hoping to use Zebra on a current project.

Sorry for naging here, is the bug fix for this released? And if so, where do I find it?

Post

Sorry, our installers went all nuts. We think they're fixed now so we're on the brink to posting a public beta though.

If all goes well then I'll post them here tomorrow.

Bad news: It looks like code signed installers are broken under Snow Leopard, but work fine on Leopard, Lion and Mountain Lion.

So we're reverting to not code-signed installers for now. I guess.

Windows seems fine:

http://www.u-he.com/downloads/Diva/Diva866Win.zip

But do *NOT* install on MacOS X 10.6 - you might not even be able to revert to previous versions.

http://www.u-he.com/downloads/Zebra/Zebra866Mac.zip
http://www.u-he.com/downloads/Diva/Diva866Mac.zip

This should however end the silence problem. If anyone needs ZebraHZ urgently, send email to support at u-he dot com, use "ZebraHZ 866 public beta" as subject line. We'll try to answer quickly.

Once we suss out the problem with the Snow Leopard code signing issue, we'll start a new thread with new betas.

Cheers,

;) Urs

Fantastic Urs! :) Seems to be working fine here now on Win 7 x64 Studio One on initial tests. Haven't been able to reproduce the problem yet so that's great. I'll be emailing to get HZ when you can.

Cheers and thank you!!!

Hi Urs,

I sent an email over the weekend for the Dark Zebra beta. Is it available yet? Thanks.

Hi Urs,

Does the Zebra866 installer include the 64 bit version?
During the installation, it did not ask for the location of Zebra2 64 bit, only Zebra2 32 bit. Furthermore, under select components, the check box for 64 bit remained unticked, only for 32 bit and presets were ticked.

Running Zebra2 under Cubase6 32 bit, it says version 2.5.4, but under Cubase6 64 bit version 2.5.3. I am on PC Win 7 pro, 64 bit. Am I missing something? Please advise. Thanks.

Please send that to support at u-he dot com - Fritz needs to check it out.

Normally you should be able to select the 64-bit install in the process.

Well, it works here normally. Would you please try installing it again? :)

Hi Urs and Fritze,

I have reinstalled and it showed on both 2.5.4. The only difference was that first,I clicked on the drop down menu to select 64 bit, and thereafter ticked the 64 bit check box. It seems that skipping the first step and only ticking the check box will not install the 64 bit . My apology for being careless.
Thanks guys for your advice.
