Please stop with the demos. Every time I hear them I'm plunged into this nightmarish world. Tortured and mangled whispers clamour and crawl around my skin. Erie creepy reverberating resonances pound and scratch at my synapses sending me into a deep resounding despair where there is no hope in sight or rescue.

And I'm skint and can't afford Padshop Pro yet. Damn it.

many very experimental - a lot using the same sample but trying to see what it does (including a set of Berio inspired vocal sounds) - should all use the factory Padshop samples
Thanks for doing these sounds. I downloaded them but can't work out where to put them so that Padshop can find them. The manual is hopeless in this respect!

Cheers,
David

For the vst presets on a Mac its:

User/Library/Audio/Presets/Steinberg Media Technologies/Padshop/User

or instead of the User Folder create your own folder and drop them in there

Hi Simon,

It's a PC. I've had similar problems finding where to put Retrologue sounds. Steinberg really do make it pretty difficult.

David

OK, it's sorted. The sounds need to go in programdata/vst3 presets/steinberg media technologies/padshop.

SiMOD, you are the official Frankensound :help: :scared:

Professional technicians are assessed by the abilities they possess.
Amateur technicians are assessed by the tools they possess - and the amount of those tools, with an obvious preference to the latest hyped ones.

I just finished installing Cubase 6.5, playing a bit with Padshop right now, I love it awesome synth, some of the presets pads are just fantastic, very impressed, Retrologue is good too, but Padshop is my favorite ;) Good stuff
