Pattern-quantize and drawing controller events

Hello! It would be great if MuLab allowed to copy notes into clipboard and quantize another range according to the times in clipboard. This is extremely necessary in grooves, where percussion notes are not necessarily positioned on grid lines. E.g. shakers which have attack part, or swing grooves. Possibly I saw something like that in another DAW, but I can't remember where. Also it would be great if I could draw velocities or controller events (like track volume) using a free hand mode, not only lines. Maybe these features are already supported, but I don't know how to make them work. Thanks!

You can also use automation parts to draw multi-point envelopes to automate parameters. Just wondering, you can't use the grid for your purposes even if you use the 1/128 grids? That must be one fast shaker

That's not what pattern quantize is about! When I record a drum/percussion part from the MIDI keyboard, I do not always hit the keys in the precise moments, but certain measures are nearly perfect. The idea is that you copy the good range into the clipboard (e.g. a measure), then select another range (maybe several measures) and apply only note times to that range. I think it would be great if we could copy/apply events selectively, e.g. copy only note pitches, and apply to another range, or only velocities, or only times (!), keeping the remaining parameters intact. Consider you have only one note in some measure, and another measure contains a groove. You copy velocities and times and apply it to that only note, and you get a transposed groove! Or strums, or arpeggios, anything! Oh yes, I know that problem Actually, in terms of timing the result is often even worse than first perceived when recording 
I usually make one of the few good measures perfect and then copy it altogether
And if the notes are different, at least I have a reference measure to look up where to drag the existing bars.
