Hi All,

Diva x64 v1.1 has stopped working in Cubase v6.5 x64 on my Windows 7 x64 machine for some reason. Instantiating Diva on an Instrument Track continues to work. But if I instantiate Diva in the VST Instruments rack, no sound comes out of Diva. I can see that Diva is getting MIDI input and I have of course made sure that all the input connections, mixer settings, etc. are correct. But no sound.

I have tried both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Diva and turned the multi-threading on and off. Nothing seems to work.

You might say, "Well, just run Diva as an Instrument Track, dummy." :-) But there are many reasons why it is better to instantiate plugins in the VST Instruments rack/panel and than to assign MIDI tracks to their inputs (e.g., you can make a copy of a track without needed to instantiate another instance of Diva).

Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

That's a known issue - and help is on its way! Could even be a matter of a few hours before a fix is available. Watch this space...

We'll be going public beta with this shortly:

Does that do the trick?

Hi Urs,

Thanks so much for the update. Diva is now outputting audio properly. However, I am noticing that the CPU consumption in this v1.1.1 beta is noticeably higher than that of the previous 1.1 version. Am I using a debug build by any chance?

Thanks for your help!

Hmmmm, possibly... but I don't think so.

Clemens needs to answer that.

Clemens told me it is a debug version. How much more CPU does it use?

The CPU consumption is probably twice what it was before.

Strange. Could you please send me a preset where this happens to
support at u-he.com? :)
