And as I said in an earlier post "The customer is the company" almost nails it. We where quite a few people whom both here and at another site felt that it was a promo more directed to the new customer base or they whom had not bought so deep into the 2CAudio catalog. My calculating mind read the customer mail-out like those whom only got the "new kid on the block" Breeze was the clear winner and for the rest of us there was nothing in it. Should there have been a ladder of rebates to be found I find it hard to believe that we should have seen anything other then cheerful congratulations and praises for all the hard work that went into it, and for 2CAudio to give us all another winner. I also said that it does not matter if someone tries to tell you that you should not be upset or feel like you've been cheated. If thats how you read a presentation then it is what it is.
There is a promo/cross-grade for ALL existing customers. We always do that when the products are in the same family of things. People seem to overlook that.
The debate is "should all customers get the same discount" or "should customers who have the perfect storm or equivalent via separate purchases get more of a discount". It always gets tricky to figure out once we start playing "who gets/deserves what" and someone is always discontent in some way or another... Honestly $100 off compared to the final retail price seems like a pretty good deal to me for all customers, and seems to work out for all the various pricing possibilities...
Nonetheless, we have heard the requests regarding "ladder" cross-grades and are attempting to implement them in an equitable manner. More soon.
And yes people who have already purchased will pay the same as whatever we decide.
