I'm not really sure how to reply to thissinkmusic wrote:Hi
I should be buying it, but i would like to make a remark, on a general level : one thing that "annoys" me a little with Melda plugins is that there are a lot of info available about the common features shared by every of your plugins, but very few about the exact plugin i would like to get infos about, just as if each plugin was just some kind of variation from your framework.
One example is your vocoder page : when i go to the "overview tab", i expect to know if it features a chorus, if it can generate its own oscillators, if i can use custom samples or waveforms, if it is intended to sound "analog" or more "modern", etc. Basically, the kind of questions i can ask about a vocoder.
Instead, i get tons of uneeded technical informations (like oversampling, preset management, SSE stuff, etc). I mean, i glad it is here, but why the hell would i care to know that your vocoder can work in a 8 channel surround context, if your webpage doesn't make me aware about the more important features of your vocoder ?
Don't take me wrong, it is not a rant, but something a bit weird i wanted to share with you.
Of course! It depends what you feed in. That's the trouble with audio demoes and words in general. Here you have 2 signals you feed it, it's like infinite number of combinations. Just check it outsinkmusic wrote: I listened to the demo, i enjoyed the drums + pad samples, but when it comes to vocoding, i must say i am expecting also some SVC350-esque, bollocky-sounding sounds, and of course a solid robot voice
Is your vocoder mostly designed for smooth sound processing, or is it also good at single oscillator thick voice vocoding ?
