Just a couple more of euros (9.99) and you can get Padshop Pro, and use your own patches.

Yes I did, an alto flute playing an octave tremolo between A2/A3 which I recorded some days ago.

This is probably the most mellow Padshop Pro pad sound I've programmed so far - made from swinging a plastic tube which can play through the overtone scale - I sampled those tubes today after buying them in a local toy shop - stunning and beautiful sounds are being made out of those samples - aftertouch adds harmonc distortion, Modwheel for subtle FIlter sweeps and grain movement:

Gorgeous stuff.

I've started listening to some of the Absynth demos that you have for sale. I'm curious as to your experience relating sound design between the two synths. It's clear that you're having a lot of fun with Padshop, coming up with rich and deep sounds.

Thank you - concerning the granular engine Padshop Pro is much more advanced and better sounding of course. But Absynth then has the whole world of synthesis, subtractive, additive, FM and more and a much more complex modulation system plus all the possibilities one has when using the envelopes as mod sources. So both synths are not really comparable imo. If you're looking for advanced granular synthesis I think Padshop Pro is a great tool, but more than half of the work/task with it is to produce good and suitable samples.

And another demo featuring 3 Padshop patches made with samples from the tube harmonics, sounds pretty beautiful to my ears:

one question i forgot :D, can you easily play backwards? place where and specify the region, speed and more?

Yes, you have a position knob and time set to negative values - e.g. -50% - will playback the sample backwards at half the speed. All of these parameters can be modulated with Controls, LFOs what have you, same as in Alchemy really.
