I know this does not directly have anything to do with u-he creations. I was just tripping out reading that Hans Zimmer was in the Buggles. In the wikipedia summary of Hans Zimmer, it says Hans Zimmer is briefly in the "Video Killed the Radio Star" video, but I don't see him there. I only see Geoff Downes on synth. I just bought "Clean Clean" off of iTunes; I almost forgot about that Buggles tune. Comments anyone?

I have a vague recollection of him thinking he was was in The Buggles but never really was. He kept nagging and Trevor Horn tricked him or something. In here somewhere i think:

The linked video doesn't play in this country. The only video I could find of that song could best be described as "Look Ma, no Hans."

That's freaky. Small world and all. I also saw a Yes concert last year with Geoff Downes on keyboards, and with songs written/produced by Trevor Horn originally meant for The Buggles.

Thank you for responding! I listened to the first 35 minutes (so far), and Trevor Horn talked about Hans Zimmer/"Video Killed the Radio Star" at around 30 minutes into it. Interesting!

Thank you for replying, though I am in the USA, and it says that video won't play in this country. This is the video I remember where Trevor Horn's very thick glasses were very prominent. I found a different video where Trevor Horn was wearing sunglasses & I didn't see Hans Zimmer.

Several years ago I saw Asia play a concert & Geoff Downes played at least one Buggles song solo ("Video Killed the Radio Star" was definitely one of them).

No no no, he was not in the Buggles, it was the monkeys!
The Monkeys didn't really play their instruments, all the parts were Hans Zimmer on his samplers.
Thats what I heard...

That lengthy Trevor Horn video is pretty hilarious from 51 minutes to about 1 hour:2 minutes concerning 'Buffalo Girls' (even though I never liked that song).
