Anybody use an SPL meter?

Hey, i want to buy an SPL meter for my studio, as i produce full time on Adam A7Xs (They really throw the high end in your face) i want to have an SPL meter on my desk just to make sure im not monitoring too loud

I'm in the UK so would probably be buying for Amazon UK or something, does anybody have any recommendations?

Maplin's mini sound level meter is good VFM:

Hope that helps, If you have an iPhone or such there is an SPL Meter 'App', Not used it as I don't have an iThing to use the app with but incase you do it could save you some cash maybe?

@ Mushy Mushy - yeah, i mean, we spend thousands chasing gear etc. it would surely make sense to invest £30 in something that could potentially be the best thing you bought for your career

I had the apps, however i have now sold my iphone thats why i need a hardware version

I was looking for one couple months ago, so purchased and downloaded couple for comparison. sound level meter pro (http://itunes.apple.com/app/id553141695?mt=8 (http://itunes.apple.com/app/id553141695?mt=8)) has 2 extra weightings others lack, and the interface is neat. it meets the accuracy i needed so far, like it.
