That's pretty probable, as not all parameters are automatable.

Another Ableton user here. Although all parameters of the Melda eq's are automatable they don't appear in the host Undo.
Can you perhaps add a few undo steps to the plugins themselves?
My main problem area is using MDEQ or MADEQ, if i'm tweaking EQ or High-,Low-pass then i can never get back to the setting i had before.
Normally i just make a copy of the plugin so i can tweak than one and then copy the final setting into one instance.
Having 2 or 3 undo steps on the gui would save some time.

I'm afraid it's not possible - the reason for Live not to use it is that the plugins have too many parameters, more than 1000 usually. And it doesn't even count the nonautomatable parameters (graphs for example). It is impossible to store everything I'm afraid.
But why are you using separate instances instead of the A-H presets? They are so convenient!

I see. Yes Live only remembers them when i configure parameters as controllable.
Good point on the presets. I never touch them to be honest. I'll see if i can get it into my workflow.
Separate instances works very fast too. In Live, i just click CTRL-D and the 2nd eq opens instantly with the same settings. It just fills up ram faster since i still work 32bit.

Trust me, once you start working with A-H, you won't be able to live without it anymore
.
