I have always had problems with Sylenth 1 when I load it up in my DAW (FL Studio) I have always gotten the error message in red with the X that says "not available in demo mode" and when I go to the right hand corner where I can scroll the presets and click on 1 of the presets the red x's disapear. I was working it like this for a while but now I am getting no sound out of it and then syleth1 just turns into a gray box.
I have my sylenth1 folder at windows7x64(C)/program files/steinberg/sylenth1 and that is where my licence is. I also have a syleth1.dll file in windows7x64(C)/Program file(x86)/vstplugins and all my dll files are there with only the sylenth1.dll file.

I think my problem might be where the folder file is located but as i recall I have had problems from the get go and I think I had done this because this is the only way it had worked until now.

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you,
DJ Raffi S

It comes pretty much down to knowing where FL Studio is looking for its vst plugins on your computer.

So are you saying that my sylenth 1 folder should be moved to the windows7x64(C)/Program file(x86)/vstplugins. It seems like most of my vsti are located there. Also should i delete the sylenth1.dll file because there is already 1 in my sylenth folder?

Its hard for me to say based on what you are saying. I dont use FL Studio but I am assuming you are using a 64bit version. You keep refering to the windows7x64(C)/Program file(x86)/vstplugins folder though which I am thinking would contain 32bit plugins. There should be seperate vst plugin folders for 32 and 64 bit. These can normally be located anywhere but your DAW should have an option setting to define their location.

So you need a 64bit version of FL Studio and 64bit version of Sylenth1 installed.

Hope that helps.
