If some of you still have doubts about the sound quality of the internal soundengine...
I've recreated a Sylenth1 patch in my Silencio, which is included in the factory library...
Perhaps, if somebody knows Sylenth1 very well, one could tell, which is the "original", but I find no better or worse between these 2 examples:

cool little experiment - could you upload the Silencio patch for us to try? Also, which Sylenth1 patch were you using?
Personally, I have quite a number of plugin synths, and I still really enjoy the built-in synths. Though, usually I use custom versions of the synths where there are multiple layers of modulation going on - I like my sounds to get wobbly and experimental

The Sylenth1 patch I used here was from Freshly Squeezed Samples Definitive Collection For Sylenth1 and it's called Brazil 2....
This soundset comes with demo projects and I love this sequence you hear in the example...it's a fantastic melody...
Here comes the MUX : https://dl.dropbox.com/s/6prcrd1eowkv2v ... 2.Mux?dl=1

No, you said it right, both takes sound almost the same, but the waves in the second take sound slightly fatter to me, listening through headphones now though so i cant really appreciate the full body.Trancit wrote:Which shall mean, you like the second better???Juan Mendoza wrote: i'd bet that MUX is the second slice, ...

How is it going with your song to show all kinds of MUX setups?Trancit wrote:If some of you still have doubts about the sound quality of the internal soundengine...

I always love tests like these
I'm pretty sure the 1st is Sylenth1. Although both sound nice, the 2nd one is a bit flatter indeed and not so 'crispy' as the 1st one, at least to my ears.

I don't want to make a secret out of it... so if you like the first one better, than you are right by using mutools products:thespecialist wrote:I always love tests like theseI'm pretty sure the 1st is Sylenth1.
