Yep, I did.
I added both these, and the Platinum soundset. Very nice!!!
Peter @ SonicProjects Seems to have Vintage Soundbank emulation down to a science!

Well .... 2 ways that I can think of:
1.) Get something like TobyBear 'MiniHost' for the PC.
With this, you can use their patch manager to load the .fxb (bank file), and write out individual .fxp (patch files). So, write all of the individual patches out, put them into a single folder. Put this in Receptors 'Drop Installers Here' folder, and 'Installl' from the setup page.
2.) Manually save all of the presets from the bank.
You should be able to simply copy the .fxb (bank file) into a receptor folder (like My Documents), and then load the bank from the OPX II Gui. From here, you can switch to each preset, and manually save either the .fxp (patch file) to your receptor disk, Save each preset as a Receptorized patch, or both.
I did the first method, much faster!!

Kevin L.

Hi JayVee
Based on my experience the best host to do what Kevin has described is Cantabile Lite which can do all of this fully automated:
http://www.cantabilesoftware.com/lite/
After launching OP-X PRO-II load the Jupiter-8 bank from the patch browser of OP-X PRO-II (put it before into the "OP-X PRO-II folder" or into a sub-folder within there so that it's accessible by the browser), then click on "Edit" in the plugin window's top menu and choose "Program Organizer". Here choose "File->Export Programs".
Then Cantabile extracts all patches of the chosen bank as indexed single fxps into a folder which has the name of the bank by default. The type of indexing even can be changed on demand (normally it's an introductory number).
When done you can put the whole folder into the "Drop Installers Here" folder in Receptor, goto the setup page and click on "install". Then the bank will be available in Receptor's own patch system and so also will be accessible from the front panel.
If you also want to have it accessible from OP-X PRO-II's own patch browser then additionally copy it into the "OP-X PRO-II" folder, the best in a dedicated subfolder e.g. called "Userbanks" to keep things separated.
I hope this was helpful
Cheers
Peter

Hi Peter,
Thanks for the pointer to Cantabile. I'll have to try that one sometime
(TobyBear) MiniHost's patch manager is also somewhat automated, such that saving the individual .fxp (patch files) is a single bulk command (from a given loaded .fxb). Just specify the target folder, any prefixes to the patch name (an option for preserving patch ordering), and all patches are written.
Sounds like this is the same thing in Cantabile. Hopefully someday there is a host on the Mac that does this (anybody know of one?)
JayVee - this is typically the best way to 'unpack' .fxb files, since receptorized patches may only be generated from the .fxp patch files.
Best,
Kevin L

I've done it for you, including all banks currently available in the sound reloads area. Here's the download link:
download receptorized reload banks
It includes all, the Jupiter-8 banks, Platinum Bank, Reload002 Bank etc. Just unzip the package and put all included folders to the "Drop Installers Here" folder, then goto the Setup tab and click on "install". Then the banks will be in Receptor's file system and will be accessible from the front panel.
The introductory index to keep the patch order untouched is just a 3-digits number in these (without brackets around it) following the program number (so 1 to 128), which leaves a bit more space for the actual patch name on the display. Maybe the factory banks soon too will be provided in this format, maybe even all available banks in one big package. Let's see...
When you want to have the banks too available from the OP-X PRO-II patch browser then you have to download them from the user area in "normal" form (so in fxb bank format) and copy them into the "OP-X PRO-II" folder, the best into a sub-folder e.g. called "Userbanks" within this one to keep things separated.
This way you have all options to access the sounds, from the front panel and the muse machine host, and from OP-X PRO-II itself working with the GUI.

Btw, in this thread there's a direct A:B comparison of 16 chosen presets of this bank to a real Jupiter-8:

Peter,
Thanks for the Receptorized banks!
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but the patches don't seem to be working for me. I dropped the unzipped folders into "Drop Installers Here" and told the Receptor to install the patches (about 589 files). It took several minutes and the banks/patches show up in OP-X Pro. However, clicking on them doesn't do anything. The sound doesn't change from the default patch that OP-X started with. If I select patches in any of the other banks that came with OP-X on the Receptor those work fine. I have a VIP and very little experience with it. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Bill
