True - but this will make it easier to change that particular color for that set of controls (for example - mod knob labels), for other people using your skin as a base.

I'm sorry I don't quite understand?DJBenniBoy wrote:Teksonic, That really does make me feel really goodbet it was allot of HTML colour coding to do that though? I did see the code a view posts back bakc cannot remember what the coding was, its not deep code isit, or isit somekind of text file you can edit (or like a file you can normally edit within notepad etc?) I Think this should be crowned ZebraTS haha
...only thing that lets it down is...Zebra's arnt Orange
, But I must admit I like it allot
Zebras aren't green either........

Not sure how changing labels from "dark orange" to "black" would be any different than changing them from dark orange to Teksonik....unless I'm missing something.EvilDragon wrote:True - but this will make it easier to change that particular color for that set of controls (for example - mod knob labels), for other people using your skin as a base.
Oh wait I got it......so they can change the color to any value instead of relying on black or red or blue etc.....and not have to type in the hex values each time

Yes - and do it for all the mod knob labels at once by changing just one line at the top of the script. So you might call it "ModKnobLabelColor" for example, to make it clearer.

But that's only once you've actually changed all the right right knob values. I've made significant progress this morning. I've changed all the mod knob text on the Osc's and Vcf's but still have the Lfo's and other modules to do. I'm starting to understand the structure a bit more so it is becoming easier. I think once I change these knob text colors it will be an easy task to find/replace the rest of the dark orange values and create skins with any knob colors but still have black text under the knobs which in my opinion is easier to read. You can still have different color knobs for the modulators and not worry if the text will show up against the silver background of the panes. Anyway thanks for all your work on this project.
I'm off to work now........and I was just getting on a roll.....

Ok it's time to play "Really Stupid Question of the Day" again........
What the heck controls the text color in the modules area? I've been up and down the script. I'm sure it's right under my nose.......

EDIT: I tried pasting:
COLOUR name='GridModuleText' rgba=
From the Unempty Horse script file but no luck.......

Thanks ! Got it.........

I'm working on a more neutral color scheme although I'm not crazy about that blue.....too lavender....but I think the modules are much easier to see now. Should be possible to create any number of color schemes to fit almost any taste.
I've just about got my orange version dialed in....just have to make a couple of corrections.......thanks again.

Made a red one too but it would most likely cause eye bleeding, nightmares, and radiation burns.....

Are you sure?

I didn't finish it because after just a few seconds of viewing the partial results I realized I would never be able to use it without risking severe irreversible brain damage.
But if you really want to finish it:

Here's another one for those who like Amber..........

Doesn't seem to be much interest in optional gui colors...or maybe the thread title is misleading...or maybe the color choices suck......
