I've tried a few Graphic EQs downloaded from the internet but they all bring up the same message when I try to load them into the program, 'Invalid VST Plug-in'.
I've had no problem with the Reaktor, Absynth, etc plugins (64 bit and 32 bit versions) so I'm not sure what the problem is.

Are you on OSX or Windows?
Are you on a 32 bit system or 64 bit?
Are the VSTs you want to plugin 32 bit or 64 bit?

Hi, I'm on Windows 64 bit. I tried a few 64 bit plugins and they wouldn't work, then I read that MuLab doesn't support them and tried some 32 bit plugins but they prompt the same error message when I try to load them in.

I assume that must have been an older message because MuLab 64 bit does support 64 bit VST plugins.MrRijndael wrote:Hi, I'm on Windows 64 bit. I tried a few 64 bit plugins and they wouldn't work, then I read that MuLab doesn't support them

with MuLab win64 you can use 64 bit VST Plugins, if you want also to use 32 bit VST Plugins you can do this with jBridge. If you want to use jBridged VSTs you have to run MuLab as administrator.MrRijndael wrote:I've tried a few Graphic EQs downloaded from the internet but they all bring up the same message when I try to load them into the program, 'Invalid VST Plug-in'.

i've installed FabFilter Pro-Q VST2 64bit in MuLab 64bit from
http://www.fabfilter.com/download/?product=11
and can use this plugin without problems.
during installation procedure you will asked to install also VST3 plugin which requires a VST3 host!

Thanks. This worked for the FabFilter plugin. Still getting the same 'invalid VST plugin' for the others I've downloaded, they must not be 64-bit.Hermu wrote:with MuLab win64 you can use 64 bit VST Plugins, if you want also to use 32 bit VST Plugins you can do this with jBridge. Do the other VSTs run if you use Mulab 32bit under Win64?
32bit plugins (majority of freeware VSTs) need Mulab 32bit or, to run it in Mulab 64 bit, as mentioned, a 32->64 bit bridge like jBridge.
64bit plugins need Mulab 64 bit or, to run it in Mulab 32bit, a 64->32 bit bridge. By some reason i couldn't get jBridge to work in this mode, but that's pretty irrelevant as for every 64 bit VST there is a 32bit version
