Very interesting. I just found this thread. Have to read thorough it very carefully and attentively.hollo wrote:Finally i made a patch for Zebra: the infamous DX7 E-Piano 1.
Here you can check the Original (iron) Dx7 : with a bit of much
velocity. I had to choose between the dx7 keyboard or my Roland
A90. From the A90 is a bit overdose the Dx velo, but if i would
play the dx keyboard then the FM7 and the Zebra would be too flat. So i scale it down just under 100 the hi velocity notes for the first track.
Still is a bit harder.
All of the 3 track is totally dry and mono. (like the Dx7 was)

What do you think?

I'v promised to share the preset with you:
Downloadable from here:
http://www.sound.artenuovo.com/padsheav ... atches.zip
I put it in to Padsheaven 16 free patches as a bounus preset:
Dx E-Piano 1

Just tweaked a bit, added chorus via modwheel, EQ.
(It's also in my sig.)
Cheers,
Joseph

Thank you very much for this patch!
I really love the Full Tines patch you made, played in your demo.
I've been looking for that sound a long time.
Would there be any chance you also share this patch with us, or must I buy the whole collection to get it?

It was Grusin Dx Piano from Padsheaven, not Full Tines.
It would not be fair to give away for free, for those, who buying
my soundset, - sorry.
