installing 64bit versions to separate VST folder

Just started testing Live8's 64bit beta version. When installing plugins I've noticed that some installers (like NI) allow user to set 2 VST folders. One for 32bit, another for 64bit plugins. Do you think this would be a good idea for u-he stuff as well?

The reason for it for the Live 64bit is as of right now live only allows 1 vst folder. So alot of users install them all in to one and now with 64bit have a separate install dir for 64bit.
The other workaround is that live will follow symlinks/shortcuts, so you can always just create a shortcut to the 64bit versions inside your 64bit install folder. Thats how I have all mine organized is they all get installed to their respective 32/64 folders, but I have dirs of shortcuts all organized by type and what not and have live use that shortcut dir as its vst folder

I manually move all my u-he 64-bit .dll files into a VST64 folder. Since they support Windows shortcuts to the *.data folder I only have one set of presets for both. I'm assuming you can do this with the Mac too and using Unix symlinks. I haven't tried it though.
It would be nice if the installer did all of this for you.
