unless you reconfigure all of your other apps to delete things on right-click

This right-click behaviour is what makes the piano roll/playlist so quick.
Sorry, my aged brain is now hardwired - literally! - after using Windows/ MS Office etc for 20+ years to expect a pop up, not a delete, on R Click!!
Def need an option to re-define this
Apart from that, FL Studio is great and can do just about anything - but because of it's complexity - perhaps due to it's organic evolution and different options for legacy/ priced versions - there are a few things that I wish had been made a bit clearer, that as a total beginner took me ages to work out. In many cases by learning on another DAW!
The manual is very comprehensive, but many times it is like reading a car handbook when you are trying to learn how to drive. For example, it lists all the commands for an LFO or Envelope - but doesn't really explain how you use them or what they are for..
So you have to use the videos and there are hundreds of them! Many are very good - and I like the ones by Warbeats, because they tend to be taken slower - but it is a bit hit and miss.
The Ableton Live manual is not as detailed, but takes you through in a logical manner - and the application includes many built in lessons - with simple videos.
For me, FLS and Live complement each other very well
But if I get a minute I'll make a list of "Things I wished I'd known first time round"
