Well I haven't had a chance to look at everything but I have had some pretty "interesting" things happen with garage band.
it's difficult to gage where the problem is as I have several things MIDI and audio connected over a CCK but I have had a couple of instances where the "smart instruments" have been playing at multiples of the master BPM until I restart the app. Not a disaster but pretty annoying.
On a different note has anyone else noticed that their home button is not as responsive on ios6?

I thought any apps that updated would still function under 5.1.1. Only you wouldn't get any new functionality the app offered. (I still use my iPad 1, which will be stuck at 5.1.1 till it dies or I sell it.)

That would be strange to force everyone to use only the currently available iOS.

Not if we are talking about Apple. It's pretty much their way. PLANNED OBSOLESCENCE.

The new iOS, as well as the iPhone 5 work great here! Map gate pffsshh! In Los Angeles it is excellent. The only nag I have is how long it's taking to re-download every Alchemy library! Like 20 min per and there are like 8!

Yup, I'm sure glad I got the 1st gen Galaxy Tab instead, which can't even be upgraded to 3.0 much less 4.0 or 4.1.

Great to hear that the map for Los Angeles is accurate. It is not so great for many other places though ...

I upgraded to Ios 6 and it went swimingly well. No problems. Nothing deleted. I made sure NOT to use iTunes, but instead wait for the update to appear on my iPad. It finally did and I plugged it in and left the house. Later that night it finished (I have no idea how long it actually took, but these things usually take a LOT of time).

So far, I LOVE the app store's improvements. All of my apps seem to play, so it looks like everything is fine.

Some midi controller apps are broken in iOS6 - like TB Midi Stuff & Midi Designer. There's some info on why that is here - http://mididesigner.com/midi-designer-1 ... d-ios-6-0/ - Updates to both are on the way, but if you're in the middle of a project then don't update. Other than that so far ios6 is great :)

Happy with the update. Maps suck, but not to the point of being unusable. Everything else is good.

I haven't had any problem with it, but I generally use either Garmin or Waze anyway.

Other audio apps effected - Grain Science: background audio not working. Spacewiz: audio glitches. Morphwiz: graphical glitches. MTDaw: background play transport controls not working.

Not major suckage on the maps really though, just lacking a few features.

I have a built in GPS in my car so the only time I ever really use my phone for maps is in other people's cars, so not really a big deal.
