Well, I'm using the worst computer right now, but I have a great history of bad machines:

Had a C64 and developed a nice midi/sound engine that was used in some games. Only, my C64 had a broken, out-of-tune SID and somehow it wouldn't like the new rev. of soundchips I got for replacement.

Bought an Atari Falcon 030 only days before Atari went r.i.p. (and Creator SL wouldn't even run, because the dongle was incompatible, so I stayed with the 1040ST for another 8 years)

Got a cheap x86 with a 233MHz P2 MMX Cyrus (was that the name of the crappy 3rd party chip manufacturer?) processor, which had an experimental USB port, shortly before USB became standard. Never worked. I mean, never worked for anything than writing some .docs

D'oh... that must be the way the cookie crumbles...

I use a celeron 797 128 RAM 20 gig HD

It sucks pretty good. It's my programming computer and test center basically

My music PCs:

My P4 1.7 took a dump (Due to heat I beleive :-o )
so I upgraded to a P4 3.0 800FSB 1 GB RAM because I got a hook up through some flight simulator company and this baby is sitting in a nice air conditioned room this time around. :D

i think cyrix was the name. a guy in our school was raving about them and driving me into buying one - they were not that bad actually :-)

my first music was done on an amiga. fasttracker

I'm developing my software on an PII with 200MHz and Win95 (still the first installation since I bought it :D ). One Harddisc has 2 GB, the other one 1 GB. Not to forget the 32MB of RAM. Oh: And I still make all my music with it (Using Cubasis VST).
AnaMark - The VST Synth --- Now it's freeware!

I love it, bought it in 2000.

Marco :)
I'm still using my G3 350mhz ( bought in '98 ) and I'll continue until something critical and irreplaceable fails. I can't afford to buy another computer and I won't use PCs.

right before I built myself my current system I was using an older compaq with a 500 mhz celeron, 256 mb ram, 12Gb hard drive and onboard sound. At the end, none of the PS2 ports would work and I had to buy their usb counterparts. I was running Cubase Sx and some heavy-duty plug-lns like Moog Modular and Lounge Lizard. Lets just say a lot of stuff got bounced to audio.

Me. I do.
