Hello,
I'm planning on developing a sample library using some open source samples, is this allowed in the developer challenge? The rules allow the use of open source code but don't mention samples.
The rest of the library - code, graphics, editing etc. - will all be original.
Thanks.

I would imagine that it would be fine, as long as the used samples don't break any of the licensing requirements. But then again, I don't make the rules.

Thanks for the quick reply. Who would be best to contact for definite confirmation? I don't want to put in a lot of work only to find out my entry isn't valid.

I would recommend talking to the person who released the samples under the open source license. That person released the samples, so he/she/they will be able to tell you what is allowed or not.

No I meant who should I contact here to make sure OS samples are allowed in the competition? I have already checked that I can use the samples in question for such a purpose.
