If you like X1, you'll probably love X2. The workflow improvements are pretty substantial and really refine this DAW by making the most common tasks much more accessible and intuitive. Lots of other great features and plugins added as well, but the workflow enhancements are what take Sonar to another level IMO.

Well, I never really left Sonar. I've been juggling 3 DAWs for the past few years (PT9/10, Studio One v2, and X1). I would have preferred to only use Sonar and PT, but I had so many stability problems with X1 that Studio One pretty much took its place. Honestly, I wasn't expecting X2 to be this good and I was starting to think that I might not upgrade when X1's successor came out, but X2 is everything and more than I could have hoped for, and will hopefully let me get rid of Studio One. Nothing against Studio One, but I much prefer Sonar.

They released a "quick fix" today for a few issues. Honestly I am digging x2, have no desire to go back to x1.

So here's a stupid question:

If you have a song. And you want to select an 1/4 bar section, and bounce it, and then insert that as an extra 1/4 bar insert........doable?
