I seem to have installed all my u-he data folders into the wrong folder on the PC. Can I just move the data folders where I want them and update the shortcuts in the VST folders or are there other dependencies (like in the registry or elsewhere)?

I could uninstall and re-install but it would be slower.

If you're on Win7 and if you already have Shortcuts then you can just move the folders. The Shortcuts will find the new location automatically.

I'm on W7-64 but I thought that was a whole lot of faith to put in Microsoft (!): I moved the folders and it failed miserably ("Can't find file...", no GUI, etc...).

So I manually modified the shortcut paths for the 32-bit plugins and that worked, and then copied them over to the 64-bit folder and that worked too. All done!
