Eno uses Zebra2. (Or at least has it installed on his computer.)

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-19765443

Admittedly, it's a bit of trainspotting, but in a clip showing Eno working with Peter Chilvers on a new app called Scape, you can see the distinctive performance page of Zebra2 on a screen in the background (about 2.45 into the clip).

Zebra2 is not mentioned at all, but it's obviously in the man's toolbox.

So there!

Cheers,

Cool, nice catch! Insightful words too from Eno, as always.

Makes one wonder how many other famous artists use Zebra2 considering Urs' stance on no free copies for endorsements...

Here's a pic of the clip in case the site changes or is removed. :)

Given you can pretty much make a whole ambient track with one instance of Zebra this isn't suprising.

Actually, that brings to mind an interesting concept album - a compilation of one note drones and soundscapes where no external sequencing is allowed apart from one note-on and one note-off per song :hihi:

Sounds like a concept album we should do on this forum? ;) I would be more than interested.

I'd be up for giving it a go. It's not something I've done before though I've come close to it.
