Hi to all,
Is there a way to automap Preset Left and Right and the Bank select????

I can't do it even using the Diva standard mapping feature!

I have an SL MKII for reference!

Thanks to all,

Does the parameter appear in the automatable list? i'm not at home right now..so cannot check..

usually its done via program change, so you would need to trigger a midi file with that program change in it..don't think thats automatable^^

So I must disable only some Switch on the Remote SL MKII and program them to send program change message?
I don't think automap can do this type of things....

Is there another way to do it?

no, you would need a midi file including the program change. then play that one to jump to a specific preset.

Oh now I understand XD

Ok whit this way I already able to do it but it's a workaround not a real solution!

I only want to play whit my keyboard and scroll in my patches whitout moving to the screen for the patch changes!

I do this whit other synth (Arturia's or other freeware!) why the patch left and right buttons are not assignable in Diva?

I think it's a good options to have right?

It doesen't :(

One can not access the file system from a parameter change or MIDI command. For that reason it's technically impossible to browse presets from anything other than gui interaction (keyboard, mouse).

However, there's a workaround, but it's tedious. Clemens is still learning the framework, and we'll make decisions like that in a few months.

This is also the reason why all MIDI programs are loaded when an instance of our stuff is created (and also why MIDI Programs can't be changed on the fly). Once they're in memory (as opposed to hard drive), we *can* change them upon a MIDI command.

Thank you for the reply!
Is there a way to change the 128 basic program whit the Key?
It's very useful in a live situation, a little utility like the Jupiter 8 patches, accessible via some knob or switches, to store the preset in a fast way!

Sorry for my little english, I hope you're going to consider this!

If I understand what you're asking. just load the patches you want to be able to scroll through into the "MIDI Programs" folder in your presets folder. I think you can even use sub-folders in there to create banks of 128. I believe it automatically orders them alphabetically so if you want the patches in a specific order, you may want to label them as such... for example "001 kickass bass" and "002 ono its a tarnce".

Another question:
Is it possible to make some Keyboard shortcut for the patches and the Bank browsing?

If that's possible I can automap that shortcut, for example CNTR+UP-DOWN for preset and ALT+UP-DOWN for Banks...

Sorry for the pressure, I hope you can understand my needs for a live set!

I use 6-7 instance of DIVA on my track in my studio but whit low latency and a Portable PC I can't run 7 instance of DIVA, so I'm looking for another way to change my patches...

Thank you,
Mauro.

Once you click into Diva's internal preset browser, you can use the cursor keys to go up and down.

Other than that I'd recommend to use bog standard MIDI Program Changes.

Obviously, using MIDI for preset browsing is a common request, so we're thinking about a solution - this won't come anytime soon though, as we're busy with loads of other stuff first.

I think I'm going to do it this way :D

Obviusly if you finish the bank you must change it whit mouse, but I'll make a bank for each live so no problem!

Thank you I had not thought that!

And finally, thanks for your support and your quick response, that's a killer feature that make a good addiction to this fantastic plugin!
