Here is my latest piece. Below are the details. Enjoyed doing this one. It was great going back to Tunesmith and Laurie Spiegels Music Mouse.( see my site on sig for Music Mouse and Tunesmith pages)Everything recorded in Traction. I actually did a trick. First I started the piece, and then at one point I rendered the whole thing. Then took the finished wave and imported it into another project and added more tracks, and did some clever mixing ( towrd the middle, the main body fads away and you here a space ship fly by..or..use your imagination :-)then it comes back in again. It would have been very hard to do if that section was all seperate tracks. So serindipity stricks again. Comments welcome ( it said on the sticky if you want comments, post elsewhere, so I am

Here are my first two tracks created using Tracktion:http://www.extricate.plus.com/music/Twilight_Daisy.mp3
http://www.extricate.plus.com/music/Fet ... _Remix.mp3
Twilight Daisy is a quick and easy guitar instrumental. Fett's Vett is a remix of the MC Chris track, in a rock style.
Guitars from a PoD XT fed directly into the PC via USB.

Hello fellow Tracktioneers!
This is the first track made with my brand new shiny copy of Tracktion - it's a first draft so there's some work still to do, but I hope you like it so far... Incidentally, this is the fastest track I've ever made - a few hours, compared to things taking me days to get anywhere near this in Cubase. Got to love Tracktion, haven't you...
It was inspired by this cold weather we're having, which in turn lead me to think about all the documentary coverage I've seen of Antarctica over the years - it's a place I've wanted to visit for a long time, and Mount Erebus always seems looks spectacular in the images I've seen. So that's the inspiration.... I suppose the track has a lot to live up to now I've told you that!
If you get chance, I would greatly appreciate some opinions on how it's sounding - I'd be most grateful for any reviews - there's an option to leave one on my page at the Electromancer site.

Finally got my new web site started, so I can post my stuff there.
www.richardhanson.me.uk currently has several tracks of instrumental music from plinky-plonky synth tracks to electric and acoustic guitar stuff. Available as 80kbps stereo files at 22kHz sampling rate.
Personal favourite is "East of the Dawn" (apart from the title!)
All tracks (except one) done using Tracktion and various VST plugs.

My most recently completed track is now up at my website. It's called Wash Cycle for no better reason that it reminds me of a washing machine!
I'm using FM Heaven and a strummed guitar part feeding into the mda Vocoder, sfz with ModernBeatsFreeKit, ersdrums, Triangle II for bass, JX220 1.1 for melody, mda DX10 for a melody double, Stepchild with Triangle I for arpeggios, two instances of mda JX10 for string pads and Linus for odd ambient noise.
http://www.richardhanson.me.uk/get_mp3. ... Wash_Cycle
Currently listening to tconrardy's Worlds Within - nice ambient-ish piece.

Hi All
Made a new demo song using our new M42 nebula synth and Traction. ( see http://www.algomusic.nl for more info )
Intersteller.MP3
http://www.algomusic.nl/ARimages/Intersteller.mp3
About 2 megs
Its all MIDI guitar and drum loops from a CM magizine disc. The previous thread on M42 ( on Instrument section of KvR) had a post when someone dropped drum loops,( in Tracktion) and an M42 and they synced up nicely. I tried it, and was amazed at the sound and how well it works. The patch I used to start everything was called " RYM Intersteller " , thus the name of the piece. It has a unique modulation in which a pulse wave switches between two soundfonts and makes a cool kind of pallette. I also used some Warp sounds: Hendrixite and feedbacker. These are a lot of fun to play on MIDI guitar. Also playing the Space Bass which seemed to fit well in the piece. PAD Universe and LED Orion was used as well. To fill in the rythm I used RYM Pyson Beat, which added that downward modulation effect. All rendered in Traction! The only processing I did was some "Classic Reverb" on the Warp Feedbacker and "Classic EQ" on the other parts.
Would love comments on this

Two new tunes "Made with Tracktion" for your listening pain.. erm.. pleasure:
http://www.woolyloach.com/sunset_eyes/E ... nce(m).mp3
http://www.woolyloach.com/sunset_eyes/E ... tal(m).mp3
All done in Tracktion with Rhino, Dash EVE, Cameleon 5000, M42, Beta Monkey drum loops, and a handful of Voxengo effects. Spacey/trippy stuff, different than what I normally do. Not *quite* "mastered" tunes, but I hope good enough to be listened to!
