Zebra|CM - Will it ever get an update ?

I'm not even talking about new features. I like it as it is (with all the presets it has)

But under Cubase 6.5.4 and Chainer, presets names are a mess (give a peek at plughugger's bass folder) and
the fact that the plug won't remember the current preset location when the interface is unloaded (close the
interface and reopen it - it will default to the first preset)

It's a magware, I know... but those issues freak me out... :(

We're still working on that full maintenance release for everything. It's planned to take a closer look at ZebraCM, hoping it'll "just compile"

With some luck we'll have everything updated before x-mas.

Hmmm, maybe make a list of all niggles with Z|CM you know in this thread... (also for everyone else)

Great news. :) May i ask in which way this update is planned? I mean, do i have to buy a new CM issue to get it?

Well, you can enlarge the interface to accommodate the much larger real-estate size of 2012 lcd screens :)

It looks good for a giant public beta release. We're currently doing ReadMes and that kind of stuff. All known issues that we could fix are fixed (a few issues, such as the infamous White Lines remain open until the next feature update of the framework). We'll have a closed beta release tomorrow, so the beta team can have a final look.

Even though it might be safe to do a full release, we don't want to risk an official release when we're all gone throughout the holidays.

Cheers,

;) Urs

Oh, and on the topic of ZebraCM... of course we can't do a public release. But unless there's any freak out problem with anything else, we'll just send the new version off to CM.

Hello Urs,
I have a couple of nice presets lying around for ZebraCM, do you have any need for these? Also for Tyrell (greatest thing in the world btw, so much fun!).

But of course!

(sheesh, we need to have some drinks some time... I already killed the Single Malt I got from you)

My, that was a tasty one, I must say!
I'll bring a different one next time.
Presets shall be sent around the weekend, if that suffices.
Very nice!

Thanks for the update. One question: Will this be a pure bugfix release, or will the newer filter algorithms present in Zebra also be updated to ZebraCM? The reason i'm asking this is because i remember you said once, that the filters in ZebraCM are based on the older algorithms from Zebra 2.3 or so. Don't get me wrong, i really appreciate that you're updating this, and i'm not demanding anything nor complaining, the question is just out of interest.
