GC 20% off: it looks like Alesis and Akai are available and that's just from the A's. I may do some mining later, but don't really have any money to spend since Lindell Audio is getting that for three discrete/trafo 500 series modules at $299.99 each:

Even at 20% off, Guitar Centers prices are kind of mediocre.
I'd wait a month until the Black Friday deals hit.

Yeah, I did some searching around and then comparing to prices elsewhere and didn't come up with much, on software anyway.Sorefingers wrote:Even at 20% off, Guitar Centers prices are kind of mediocre.

You have to find a participating brand, something you want or need, have that be at a discount already and then get the 20% off for it to be a good deal.
If I had the money, a Tonelux 500 series EQ for $635 or a Daking 500 series mic pre for $550 are better deals than you can find elsewhere.

Thanks to offer I was finally able to buy the Alpha compressor plus some extras of course. How could I resist the temptation with this price?

After days of virtually no activity on the Bargain thread, it's nice to see some activity again.
I agree that the GC disclaimer is ridiculous. Easier to just list the participating companies or actual gear.
Cheers

Hide your wallet!
I'm hoping for a cheap way to get Duende bus comp. But that stuff comes up second hand a lot so it's no biggie.

I've never done this myself, but the folks in the Harmony Central guitar deals thread are always saying you can get discounts on excluded brands if you call. The web is subject to MAP (minimum advertised price) - whereas a human being on the phone with you is not. I think that's how the logic goes. YMMV.
If every KVR member wrote one review a year we'd have 1340 reviews each day!
