I've been trying to update from 1.8.20100924 to 1.9.20111221. So far it's proved a complete no go.
At first the Receptor (a Pro Max) kept disconnecting from the network as I was attempting to copy the .mrpk file over. When I finally managed a successful transfer and instigated the upgrade, either from the viewer (latest version - Mac) or from the front panel, the Receptor shuts down and, upon reboot, shows that it is still on 1.8 and still shows that there is a file available to install. I've tried several times to install and also tried re-downloading and installing the update. all to no avail.
Things really shouldn't have to be this difficult!
Any help appreciated.
Impossible to upgrade to 1.9

Hey Boom,
Sorry for the trouble you are having. Is it possible that you have Z Load on? Sometimes this can cause funny things. If not you should send your install log into us via help desk ticket at plugorama.com
The install log can be found in the Reports folder on the Receptor Drive.
Thanks,
Gary
