Do you feel that breverb 2 is significantly better than breverb 1? I have the audiomidi version of breverb 1.

Thanks!

I'm having now time, midi loop recording issues. People are trying to help (the good) but they are somewhat inconstant (bad) I can reproduce them, but there are some variables. Anyways, this is why I never get anything done  It's always something. And the workarounds sometimes get me to the point of too much frustration.

So, Make sure you demo it first, the release may INDEED by better than X1 when it came out, but it's still just another host. Some things work, some doesn't, who know when/if it will be fixed.
I thought we lost you for a while there, Look's like you're back to yourself although sorry to read about your latest foibles and disappointments, NOT, this is the hibidy that I've come to be used too. :ud:

Disregard my previous statement and continue. :hihi:

I'm in the process of reading through this thread...about page 17 at the moment...and thought I'd ask what the current cost will be for an 8.5 producer move to X2, directly or via the X1 route if it's still pending. I saw one of the CW guys say the $99 deal was lasting til 10/31. Has that changed? I know these things have gotten convoluted in the past. I'm one who's concerned with stability and workflow. The last truly solid version I've had was 5 or 7.

Sorry from 8.5 it's 199.00, the sale is for X1 expanded, still not a bad deal to catch up to the update scheme so when X3 comes out it will be a lot cheaper.

I think I will end my upgrades at 8.5 as there are great solutions available elsewhere(ain't technology wonderful), 8.5 still does everything I need.

I'm considering going to the Studio version. I have enough plugins, and don't need any VST instruments. That's still $99, I believe. Would really like to find a program that isn't such an endless obstacle to creative flow.

You can do what i did and pay only $99 to go from 8.5 Producer to X2. You only need to go to Musiciansfriend or Music123 and buy the X1 upgrade for 8.5 users and you'll get X2 Producer for free. You need to buy soon as possible cause the deadline is October 31st. You can no longer buy the X1 upgrade directly from Cakewalk but need to go to a retailer such as the two i mentioned, here's a link - http://www.musiciansfriend.com/pro-audi ... 5-producer

PS. X2 is a huge upgrade comming from 8.5. I'm VERY impressed and it just feels like Sonar has reached some high-point in development and is extremely mature and very complete as a DAW now due to all the additions and improvements over the last few years. I paid only $99 comming from 8.5 and have been feeling guilty of something wrong because of all the new improvements and additions at that low price (two versions worth of improvements - Skylight, audio-engine, editing features and many other work-flow enhansements, etc}. I was a dissatisfied person with Cakewalk's direction over the last couple years and even considered leaving the Sonar platform but now i see their vision more clearly with X2 and see that they are still hungry and ambitious and have a good vision for Sonar. X2 is no doubt their crowning-glory and may be a tuff act for them to follow IMV.

T2 Icarus is a must. SonicCore SCOPE is the most. As heart of studio it has my vote, cause XITE-1 is all she wrote.

I ordered one of these...
A real bargain.

Home Studio 7 and X1 studio with a free upgrade to X1 producer and if you register before the first of November you get X2 for free. Oh before I forget: there is also a USB Keyboard controller included.

Not bad, but don't wait to long because the complete process took 10 days!

Here's a rant: Uninstall. Forget the money. At least I like the TH2 update.

I'm hopeless (the 10 take joy!)
