I'm afraid with so many developers/auctions and therefore biddings this thread will go completely out of control on the last day![]()

We should also consider setting a minimum bid amount, as we did last year (it was $10 AFAIK), for the last few hours.

B: I bid 11 dollars
C: I bid 20 dollars
B: Wait I bid 15 dollars
C: I bid 25 dollars
A: I already bid 12 dollars B try again
C: I bid 30 dollars
etc
etc all happening within 1 minute time frame
This really does need to be on an automated auction site next year as we have become large enough to warrant it.. how cool is that?

Would be even cooler imo if it was run like a *real* auction and didn't use the ebay method. ie. people keep on bidding until they bow out, no deadline for bids. An appointed auctioneer would call for any final bids then close the auction. Maybe do it on a chat relay or something.VitaminD wrote:This really does need to be on an automated auction site next year as we have become large enough to warrant it.. how cool is that?
Whatever, darn cool how much is being raised, kudos to all.

There are a few more things that I would like to bid on but I am already at the point of having to raid my MacBookPro savings account. So, no more bids from me. I'm broke. Plus, I'm going on vacation the last week of October and when that last min bidding war takes place I will be on a slow hotel wireless system cursing the internet.
And one more thing...
Inear Display bundle. $25

AFAIK no, but this way we don't fritter away the bids and things became more interesting in the end...satYatunes wrote:Btw, is it mandatory to bid in $5 increment?
