btw I just found out that Aalto even has a built in mlpreset (its native VST format) to aupreset converter - it auto detected all my mlpresets and asked if I wanted them converting to Logic format. That is something other developers could do.

Technically U-he products have a built in converter.
I mean if you can use something that opens the vst.
Reaper, or something else that opens vst, then just use the save in native format to save as fxp or au depending on which one your using.
I see no difference, as it achieves the same result.

Yeah but Aalto automatically batch converts them. Doing it one by one is always possible but it's a drag when you have hundreds to do

Yea I remember doing that for the first ZebraCM soundsets I released.
It took forever. I had all 3 formats.
I can't really see the use, unless there's actually something that won't load the h2p format. Logic loads them for me.

I cannot agree that aupresets are fast.
My mistake was that when I started to work with Zebra, I saved my own presets to aupresets. And now I have several tens of presets, and Logic works with it very slow - it takes 2 or 3 seconds just to display list of presets.
So now I am saving presets in Zebra native format, and it works like charm.

P. S. Slow aupresets behaviour is noticed for Zebra only. Most au plugins work with aupresets instantly.

Mods - delete if this is not ok. On another (Logic-specific) forum I frequent, there is a mega-thread with folks posting Logic presets for the major AU / preset banks. For Logic users, it give you browsing, and search capabilities within the Logic browser (a tremendous convenience). Anyway - I found Zebra aupreset files there, and posted Diva aupresets a couple of days ago. Here is the link: http://www.logicprohelp.com/forum/viewt ... &start=440

While a converter would be great, I found that it takes a few seconds per patch to create the preset banks. I have pretty bad GAS, and as I have been going through banks, I've been converting them into Logic presets. You can put them in any order you want, rename the categories (for example, I use a "0 Favorites" category, to put my u-he tagged Favorites into). I am partially through Dark Zebra, and will work my way through the others soon.

Anyway - sorry for resurrecting a long-dead thread, but thought I would post a link to the Diva aupresets for any Diva Logic users.

Cheers

joe
