I'm not certain, but shouldn't the {Application} have been substituted by that point?

Above is MuLab 4.5.0 64bit on Windows 7, New Session, Session, Save.

Oh... and clicking "Browse" appears to do the same thing as clicking the path in the Folder field (a similar dialog appears, just with a different title and a "New File" button added, both easily missed) but if you select a folder and click okay, you get a message saying you didn't select a file. It might be better to use a selected path for the Folder field (it's probably what the user meant).

Saving is about the complete session, including all compositions in that session. The titlebar says "Session Name : Composition Name"
If i click "Save" it saves, not getting asked to save as a new file.
If you want that, use Save As.

When saving new muxes they end up on the "Choose Instrument" when adding a track but the ones i had made prior to 4.5 are not there. I suppose there's some file i should delete or do something to reset ... but i can't remember what it was
Please load these presets and save them again so that their file content is updated. The preset cache will also be updated automatically then.

I see what you mean, thx.

There is a new version M4.5.1 in http://www.mutools.com/mulab/cedar

This new version has an improved Session Save As dialog which should be more obvious to use.

Any feedback is much appreciated.

Installation:

* Make sure you have installed M4.4.9 or M4.5.0, see earlier in this topic.
* Download the M4.5.1 app patch for your platform.
* Extract the new app file and copy it into your current MuLab folder, replacing the previous Mulab.exe / Mulab.app

Much better... defaults to what the template (in my case) was named...

It appears that the Midi setup issue with Macs (al least mine) is now fixed. Thanks!

Mine is still not working... OSX 10.6.8 What version are you using? (OSX)

Post

I am using 10.6.8 as well.

Very strange... If I open one of my templates or a new file, I still have to open the midi panel to get my kybd. to play the instruments... maybe my old Edirol kybd. and drivers? Although in Logic it works fine...

In MuDrum, is it possible to have one pad choke another? For closed hihat chocking open hihat. I can't find a way to do it with MuDrum, but maybe there's a work around somehow?

Currently there is no such direct support yet. But there is something about that on the wishlist, maybe even M5, though can't promise that yet.

Note that you can control drum choking manually via the length of the notes you sent to the MuDrum in combi with a rather short release time.
