Playing notes with sustain pedal

I am currently using a Keystation 88es for drumsampling and it would be so much easier if I had at least one pedal for the bassdrum. I already have a sustain pedal and I want to know if it is possible to play a note/drum with hit.

I didn't find any useful shortcuts yet (the only option I can think of to give the pedal additional functionality).

Any ideas?

You need to convert a controller into a note event.

I can't see anything doing that.
