How to install to work with Cakewalk - plugins not showing up :(

I have installed and tried several different ways/locations that work with all of my other vst's., the files show up when searching in the cpu but aren't showing up in the program for use., any help would be appreciatted., thanks.,

Did you use 32-bit version for 32-bit Sonar and vice versa? It DOES NOT matter what OS you have.
