Hello Mulab users! I have encountered a problem in Mulab (this may just be me being a noob at this). I have a Mic integrated into my laptop and I have set it up in windows, http://dakkra.com/storageaccounts/dakkr ... owsmic.PNG .
However when I use Mulab I can't see my mic, http://dakkra.com/storageaccounts/dakkr ... opanel.PNG . All other options are racks already in mulab. Please help!

How does your Audio Setup looks like.
Mulab button, then Audio Setup.
I guess your line in is active but not your mic.

Same here when setting audio drivers to MME.
If you don't have an ASIO capable soundcard, i would propose you install ASIO4ALL from www.asio4all.com.
It's free. It should give you a lower latency as well.

Just as a note: Asio4all is not multi client. So you can't run a media player at the same time as Mulab

Ok so i have it setup, but now when i add a "plain" track it doesn't make a rack and it just copies the last track created.

For recording try the template session Recording Audio as a start (mute the Recording Monitor rack to avoid potential feedback during recording).

Otherwise, add a Audio Track and a rack will be created as well.
Add an instrument track and a rack with the selected instrument will be created.
Or create plain track(s) and plain rack(s) and route the racks to tracks by dragging the rack name onto a tracks header.
