Anyone have a solution to intermittent boot-up freezing with OS 1.9.20121022 ?
Since installation of above OS, I no longer have access to Receptor Remote Control on my MacbookPro. Anyone else? Is a new vers. of RRC needed?
Live Mode on the VIP looks like a fine idea. Will Muse make it available as an upgrade (the 2.2 version currently on VIP units) to Receptor 2 owners?

Weird. I had issues accessing the Receptor with v. 1.8 via the Mac but that went away with 1.9. Times like these it's good to have a cheap monitor on hand and hook it up directly to the Receptor!
Meanwhile, what OS on the MacBook Pro?
What version of the Receptor tools?
Are you connecting with a crossover cable or via a hub?

RRC issue temporarily solved: Crossover setting was not sticking in Setup settings.
Even with new OS, still getting Failure 31 on self-test. The important intermittent delinquent trait is that it refuses to boot.
Looks like this badly-behaved box is going for an all-expenses paid trip to California. Wish there was a suitable reform-school closer. I'm in Qhebec.
