Does downloading the Full Versions of Sugar Bytes products overwrite the Demos or should I uninstall them before the Full Version downloads? The demos for Cyclop and Robotronic where auto-detected by my Studio One 2 Pro DAW and placed in an instrument plugin folder. Do I have to remove these to prevent redundant plugin confusion before the Full Version downloads?

Hi there,
for Thesys at least the installer took care of uninstalling the demoversion automatically as part of the installation process. I would just leave the demoversions there and let the installers take care of everything, I guess it's also a good idea to make sure any host(s) are closed while installing.. (just a fellow user sharing his experience here, not an official voice of Sugar Bytes...)
EDIT: I'd make sure the plugin(s) are installed to the same folder(s) as the demoversion(s) to avoid any duplicate plugin issues, making sure the subfolder for the dll is the same..

Thank you for this V-GER. The two plugs I purchased over-wrote just like you said.
One problem though. I can't HEAR Cyclops. As I pan through the presets and play my controller, I can see that the plugin is receiving MIDI messages, and I also see movement from various recordable knobs and such. I went into the sequencer and made sure some of the activation blocks at the top were lit, still no sound though. I'm sure this is something quite simple. Any suggestions?

Wrong Serial number?
Just reinstall, make sure the serial is typed in without mistakes
best
