Cyclop hotkeys retrigger note

So I've searched around for this and can't seem to find any answers to it, but is there any way to use the hotkeys to trigger the effects knob or wobble without having them retrigger the note? For some sounds this isn't really noticeable but for others it is a HUGE detriment. I can sort of get around this problem by attaching those to knobs, which works ok in some circumstances but its nowhere near ideal when the only real downside to the hotkeys I've found is the retriggering.

Also for some sounds that have weird glide properties, the retriggering of the hotkeys can kill a sound.

If there is no fix, can there be? I feel like a checkbox in the midi menu would fix all of this.
