XFM Offset

I'm using the XMF to use a lowpass filter followed by a high pass filter. I've read in the manual that the filter offset adjusts the frequency of the second filter relative to the first filter. This doesn't seem to be how it works though.
I don't want to use a bandpass filter, because I want to be able to have control over the bandwidth, which I believe you don't have in the Zebra2 bandwidth filters.
If someone could explain to me exactly how the offset works in serial mode, that would be great. It's been bugging me for weeks!!

Check that your patch is in 2.5 mode (right-click patch name display) - could easily be that you're in v2.3 mode - the v2.3 XMF just did the 'single' stereo spread IIRC.

Shoot, that was the easy answer
The other thing that comes to mind is filter 'offset' doesn't affect just the second stage of filtering, but moves the two in opposite directions. The first will move in the direction of the offset knob or modulation, and the other opposite. So with an LP and HP In series, in that order, a positive offset will open up both
... if that helps.
