I may be alone in this, but I strongly suggest keeping DASH in there. If you can't keep it as the main name, then at least keep it somewhere prominent. DASH is recognized all over the place, in magazines and on the web, as being an innovative company with many years of quality developement. There are people who have bought and used your products right through from the first free ensembles for Reaktor to the latest soundset for EVE and you need to capitalize on that. It is getting harder to make a mark in the virtual studio world, and I really believe that holding on to the name DASH will keep you associated with a long history of quality developement. Here's what I think: DASH virtual sound (or something catchy yet predictable like that) with two lines, the Nusofting line, and the DASH signature line.
Having a recognized name, with two proven product lines.... well, jeez, you can't get any better than that. And you guyz worked too hard over the years building a name for yourselves to just let it go now that it is recognized around the world...right??

I've changed my mind: aMUSEd's idea is a good one. Keep DASH and lose the 'signature' part, and maybe append another word if you think of something clever

I voted wait and see, just because I'm a relative new comer to the products.
My thoughts vis a vis the name, are pretty much in keeping in line with others: Find some way to incorporate the DASH name while demarking a new phase of the company.

For anyone having doubts and/ort not familiar with liqih's own nusofting creations such as: Fat Machine, Harptime, Mother Ship Astrobelt, Morphing Delay, Trimmetry Tapper.
Checkout http://nusofting.liqihsynth.com/
Try the demo's then tell us Dash has lost it's strength.
(Plus the Dash synths that were liqih's creation such as Abstract Guitar, Eve, etc.)

I think both lines of products should be merged under one name, and that DASH is probably the best name for your exposure. The history of failed schemes that people talk about probably doesn't resonate much past KvR anyways.
I have only used EVE for a few months, and have had my eye on combosister and morphing delay for a while now...harp time also looks good. Even though I think William is a splendid, honest chap, I see no problems with you going from strength to strength on your own. Your ideas are obviously excellent, even though I will not have a use for all your VSTi's.
I vote that the future looks bright indeed.

well, if its a choice between dash and nusofthing i'd choose dash every time nusofthing is terrible !
agree 100% with others to drop the "signature" part - i never understood that anyway. semeed like putting "deluxe" after the name - means nothing.
a new dash-based name ? sounds like good idea for a comptetition !

Yes, stick with DASH. It's simple, staightforward, easy to remember, easy to pronounce, and easy to spell.
Nusofting is ... none of the above.

I was @ work like 2 hours ago on a miserable dial-up & I tried to post the name NuDash but instead crashed the browser..this of course means nothing, I can't take any reasonable credit for the name, but I DO think that's taking the best from both & dropping the chaff.
NuDash!![/b]
That's pretty slick. Go for it.

I kinda like NuDash too. It is pretty catchy. I've been waiting for dash to release someting new, it seemd like they always released stuff until the last few months.
