Changing time signature in Zebra

Hi,
I've been trying to change a synth time signature in Zebra with no luck.
I've tried fiddling around with the arp/seq section, which isn't particularly
intuitive to be honest. Am I on the right track?
Every synth seems to lock on to a 4/4 signature I'd like to change it
to 3/4 for example?
Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks
Simon

You can't do that. Just work with it as if it were in 3/4, it doesn't really matter. Arp would have 12 steps there, for example.

Hi EvilDragon,
Thanks for your reply.
Mmmm, can you elaborate a bit more about what
you mean exactly?
Is it a matter of changing the steps then in the
Arp section?

Hi donovansi, that's an interesting idea. I'm not in front of Zebra right now so here's a few ideas off the top of my head. The simlest and probably most boring approach: 1/4, steps: 6, note lengths: 1/2, 1/4, 1/4, 1/2, 1/4, 1/4. More interesting approaches might use tied arp notes or dotted/triplet notes. However you look at it just do the math so that 3 notes cover each beat.
(you've given me something to try the next time I sit down with Zebra...)

Hi bmrzycki,
Thanks for your reply
Yeah, I see what your getting at music theory wise. I understand that part
It's the part on setting it up in Zebra, that I'm confused about? Simplistically,
for example, how does one set up 3 1/4 notes per measure in Zebra?

Hi Simon, the arp in Zebra doesn't have a concept of a measure in the musical sense as far as I can tell.donovansi wrote: Simplistically,

You have to decide how long each note will take and the spacing between them. The only way I know to do that is to use the note length, the voicing (mute a voice=0), change the number of steps, etc.
