What - that a few entrants haven't voted for themselves yet ? Only joking, well a little - If I were an entrant it would be the first thing I voted for.GaryG wrote:Excellent though must admit slightly surprised.Ben [KVR] wrote:42 different products have received at least one 5
I guess I didn't appreciate how varied the voting would be, quite a diverse crowd then.

Well I'd expect each product's dev to give their own product a 5!GaryG wrote:Excellent though must admit slightly surprised.Ben [KVR] wrote:42 different products have received at least one 5

hi there mr KVR, I bet you make an absolute fortune with the advertising on this website(not meant in a badway), I wonder how much revenue it generated for you since the idea of the website itself started since the year 2000 was it, Im guessing its surpassed all your previous expectations!!!. Anyway just to say that your site has provided some great fun on the forums and when ever I need to check out on musical plugins this is the place to be give or take a few niggles from time to time. Muchos GraciasBen [KVR] wrote:Well I'd expect each product's dev to give their own product a 5!GaryG wrote:Excellent though must admit slightly surprised.Ben [KVR] wrote:42 different products have received at least one 5

http://www.anak-krakatoa.net/~downl/DC2 ... 1.0_11.zip
http://www.anak-krakatoa.net/~downl/DC2 ... 1.0_21.zip
...i have reduced the entire to 13 .zip volumes (so there's still 7 left to upload)
i just do it one by one to avoid files corruption, a few more time before the upload of the entire library, i'm afraid...
P.S. PRODUCT PAGE UPDATED

The lack of response indicates its not important, anyone can enter anything regardless of the 'rules'Kriminal wrote:dont get this...
its classed as a Sample Player, SFZ Player....but is actually a library/sfz thats been entered isnt it?Beat Black Mamba is a powerful bass library. It's based on the Beat Zampler, developed by Synapse Audio for Beat magazine and thus can load sfz files. Design by Cyan.
Key features:
■Sample oscillators with SFZ support.
■Multi-mode filter.
■Three LFOs.
■Three ADSR envelopes.
■Complex modulation matrix.
■Arpeggiator / step sequencer.
■Effect section with overdrive, equalizer, phaser, chorus, delay and reverb.
■Free demo soundbank.
■Additional soundsets available on the Beat magazine DVDs.
■Easy to use.
■Low CPU usage.
the vst itself has already been released, the only thing thats new is the sfz file (and skin changes, but thats not relevant)
does this need to be reclassed or removed, as its not new as it stands.

Hello Krakatau. I don't know if it will matter, sampler-wise, in the long run, but I have already put your previous zip files according to the three folders scheme of yours. It might get confusing where to put these other newer zip files that I am downloading now. For example... where does tpt_1.0_02.zip belong? I have already downloaded two tpt_1.0_01.zip files that I put in two different folders named "Subsaharan Ethnotronics" and "Marred Waters".

Don't worry, to get things in order, you'll just need to be aware of this :harryupbabble wrote:Hello Krakatau. tpt_1.0_0X.zip for the "subsaharian ethnotronics" files
(5 files from "tpt_1.0_01" to "tpt_1.0_05")
tpt_1.0_1X.zip for the "marred waters" files
(4 files from "tpt_1.0_10" to "tpt_1.0_13")
tpt_1.0_2X.zip for the "deep spaces light" files
(4 files from "tpt_1.0_20" to "tpt_1.0_23")
So right, you might need though to create yourself 3 folders for each sub-library...

Got it. The mistake was mine. I thought there were already two tpt_1.0_01.zip files but I was wrong. I (dyslexia) misread tpt_1.0_10.zip as another tpt_1.0_01.zip. Sorry for the added confusion.

Kriminal, sorry to be so long in twigging. I get your drift, perhaps Beat Black Mamba should be entered soley as a sfz library without the attatched, newly skinned zampler to 'ice the cake' as it were. Nothing wrong with adding a link to go find the standard Zampler (or not if you already have a preferred sfz player).
On a different subject, I was once again downloading a large Krakatau file and at bang on 18.00 hours the d/l cut and a message popped up saying some dll or other couldn't be found. I forget what it was but it is the remnant of some shite application that I uninstalled and obviously cuts in at 18.00. At least I know why some d/ls fail when I go and have my dinner. I'll have to check at 18.00 tomorrow and forcibly remove the dratted thing.

My first impression of Flame is that it will not load in Reaper but it will load in MiniHost and it works and sounds pretty good in there but when I exit MiniHost there is a Windows 7 message saying, and I paraphrase, "MiniHost did not terminate properly". It could just be MiniHost that is faulty... but Flame not loading in Reaper too, well who knows?
And this might be an ignoramus's question but does anybody know how to setup and use the "BotteXWS" and "FadoryMasterWS" plugins in Reaper, or anywhere else? Are they some kind of midi sequencers? I really want to get a first impression.

I think you're right. Listing zamplers features is a bit off imho, not something the entrant created himself.bob bobwood wrote:Kriminal, sorry to be so long in twigging.
