Urs,

As an EWI player (and Yamaha WX5 too), could you add the Breath Control as a MIDI source parameter?
I mean, osc. TuneModSrc, PWMsrc, SyncModSrc, vcf ModSource, and in the Matrix Source and ViaSource especially.

Thanks in advance

I am not familiar with how EWI's work (i do know what they are though) Can you not use Zebras Midi Learn to do this?

Uhm,

this is already built in...

...use "Assign1" as modulation source...

By default, it maps to Midi CC#2 (Breath Control)...

In the next version, there's a section on "Settings" pane that deals with the setup of these controls...

Cheers,

;) Urs

Thank you very much!
I'll plug an EWI (and a WX5 too) to see&hear what happens.
I'll drop a line about this musical test.

From the vcf section?
I don't find out to get a crescendo/decresendo (or diminuendo) from an EWI 3020 (via an Akai interface/synth) or from a Yamaha WX 5 (directly or via a VL70m used as an interface).

Could you enlight me?
Thanks in advance.

Hehehe, as there is no direct modulation link to voice gain, the easiest way would be this:

Go to Matrix tab

For ModMatrix1, select Assign1 as ModSource

As target Parameter, select "OSC Volume"

Turn up Mod Depth

It should look like this:

Now the important part:

Lower OSC Volume in the Global section by about 50%, so that the modulation from the matrix can take effect.

There you go!

(d'oh... quite hard for me to explain stuff in Zebra1.0 lingo... especially because 1.5 will be available tomorrow)

Hahaha,

I've just compiled the final thing... hell of a work that was...

However, you have plenty of time to test it. Today's release will be called "Preview", with an official release on May15th, so you can take advantage of the 1.0 price tag for another 2 weeks :-)

I think, 2 hours to go until I'll post it ;)

Cheers,

;) Urs

Yeah, hahaha, add another few minutes for chatting with BT. He's become a father of a cute little daughter, so he had to send me pictures and loads of those textual eruptions of joy!

So... I'm writing the readme now. That should be it before upload...
