I just finished a "Talking Wah" which i want to share.
It's this "Living on a Prayer" talk box thing.
Put it between a guitar and the amp and get instant gratification.
But, works nicely on synth sounds as well.

The whole thing lives from changing the Mouth Size. So, automation/twiddling is mandatory!

yoy bass is sine or similar with fold over distortion followed by sample rate reduction.

@DiGit: Thanks for the link. You can roll your own in Mux.
In the same folder as above you find a "Crusher" patch.
Distortion level from 0..50 gives the Bitcrusher type 3, above is like type 2.
MUX downsampling and bitdepth reduction is a bit nastier than Bitcrusher.
Otherwise it's very much the same behaviour.
