Is there anybody that would be able to do a video tutorial regarding vsti plug-in and how a mux can totally change and convert a new sound from that plug-in.

Thanks,

What do you have in mind???

There are billions of possibilities, how an modular enviroment can influence any sound...

- using MUX internals like filters or modulation generators to further influence the sounds
- same goes for further FX like MUX internals or other VST FX
- using Midi FX to modulate or trigger the VSTi
- chaining with MUX internals or more instances of the same plugin or other plugins
...

Where shall one begin or stop???

This is a topic, where you own experiments and ideas are needed... trial and error

Sorry about that trancit, I should of been more specific.

I am using the sax brothers library on kontakt 4. I have the baritone sax in the right key, but I want to give it a bit more of a nasal sound to it, if that makes sense.

with the parameters that kontakt carries I have tried to capture this sound and cannot get it. With what I have heard regarding the mux, it sounds like I can go in and really re-arrange a certain sound, like the sax sound I am trying to capture.

You need an equalizer. Boost gently around 1 or 2 khz.

Thanks for the tip sorohanro, I am going to try it out, but I am still curious about what the mux can do, Which is why a video tutorial would be pretty cool.

But I will try your tip.

Combine vst's and make front panel is a good example.
I've seen this before and forgot about it.
