I'm sure this has been mentioned before, but I'll ask it anyway: is it possible in future updates to be able to type in parameter values rather than have to drag with the mouse? I like using the mouse to get into the ballpark of where I want to be for a parameter, but sometimes when I know exactly what I want, it's a little bit of a pain to have to shift+click+drag to move one .01 and spend the next minute trying to get it onto a precise value--I've been making some sounds recently where that level of precision is necessary, and it would only make the user experience that much better for Diva and Zebra.

While I'm at it, thanks for the awesome synths! There are some days where just gently stroking Diva's knobs can elicit hours of pleasure...

+1 I would also like to ask that!

Yes. There is a full blown key control system already, but it needs bugfixing. I want to tackle this after the current round of updates. I.e. Zebra3 might become the first plug to deploy this.

Once done one can almost program the whole synth without a mouse.

In view of the controllability without a mouse:

Will you also change the Midi-CC-handling for the knobs?
Will it be possible to reach semitones directly with Midi-CCs?
And to reach a knobs' center-position clearly when using Midi-CCs with 128 steps?

It's connected, and that's where the current bugs are.

Awesome, great to hear. Always a step ahead, Urs. 8)

Urs, what would you think of adding Rise/Fall and Snap for envelopes to Diva's Trimmers ? I was jamming with Bazille and thought it could pretty nice to in Diva.

Not sure... we haven't decided about anything yet...

I'd like to put in a request for pink noise options in the LFOs. For some modulations, fixed frequency LFO is too regular, random (white noise) is too rough; pink noise might be Just Right.

1.Just to keep macros interesting : Filter Bypass (Mix between two Filters by macros ect)

2.Something like Cloud Filter in Absynth.

3.Envelope section just like in Absynth - with step sequencer switch.

4.Some grain-based effect with filer tune quantize and other options (like Atherizer in Absynth)

We've planned similar things for Z3, but in a more general form than in Absynth.

Hi

something I have been writing here for years but never did:

I could really use a global (patch independent) master tune knob for Zebra....

Me and many of my colleagues using orchestras or classical musicians have to work at other pitches than A=440 Hz, at least in Europe; so at the moment I have to tune every patch I use. I don't think I overlooked that feature, did I?

So *please*, almost every other synth has it :)

Or as an alternative I would just as well be happy if Zebra was aware of Logic's global tuning preference.

BTW the fine tune parameter down in the Global area uses wrong units: the panel says "FineTuneCents", but in fact these are not cents but two cents a unit. So if I want to tune up 12 cents I need to turn it up 6 Zebracents.
:)

best - Uli

Jajaja... a "lock parameter" command will come. Maybe even this year already

Does that mean you can lock _any_ parameters which will keep their values when you switch to another preset? Such a general lock feature would really be excellent!
The more I hang around at KVR the less music I make.
