How to check a mix in mono

Hey guys,

Basically i was using a Mackie big knob up until recently as my monitor controller which had a mono switch on it so i could easily check my mixes capability in mono, however due to needing money and not using it for anything else but that (i only have one set of monitors) i have been forced to sell it

I am curious to know if there is any other way to check my mixes in mono, maybe a plug in that can go on the end of the master? or something cheap that i could use?

Sorry i haven't ever used that function before, will bare it in mind..

I posted the topic however to see if there was any other options like a cheap mono controller for like £30 or something, but nonetheless thanks for the info i'll use that function next time

Further lesson in fishing after feeding some: the link I gave to q.php is the same as the second item in the main menu (next to News) labelled "Plug-Ins, Hosts, Apps, etc". And at the top right is a Quick Search box which gives fast keyword access to the same database. Enjoy !!
